Being in the moment is what I first loved about weddings. It grew into a love of helping engaged couples bring everything together on their wedding day.  To me, being your coordinator means I am also your wedding BFF, guide, hospitality manager, advocate, cheerleader, supporter, assistant, mediator, communicator, and sometimes mind-reader. Ok, I can't read minds, but I've been known to anticipate a couple's needs often!

Having a loving and supportive husband for over a decade has made me appreciate marriage even more, especially as time goes on. Building a strong foundation for your marriage officially begins with your wedding day. Realizing the importance of this day is why I think it is essential for couples to have a wedding coordinator.

I first became involved in weddings as a violinist. The more weddings I did, the more people asked for my advice and help in coordinating their liturgy. After completing my undergraduate education at UCSD, it was clear to me that I had a knack for coordinating special events. My unique background (that will really help you!) includes professional event experience in fundraising, galas, non-profit special events, and of course, weddings. In 2009 I obtained my Meeting & Event Planning Certificate from SDSU CES and became a member of Meeting Professionals International since 2009. In 2011, I earned by Certified Meeting Professional designation from the Convention Industry Council (CIC). Since then I have coordinated events as an independent planner/consultant.

In  2013, I was hired as the Wedding Director at The Immaculata Church located on the University of San Diego campus. Beginning the summer of 2016, I've returned to coordinating weddings independently. Relationships and people are a BIG reason why I love being a Wedding Coordinator.  I enjoy meeting engaged couples in their new beginning and it is a JOY to keep in touch long after their nuptials. My goal for your wedding is to manage your wedding day design, details, and logistics. Hiring a seasoned wedding coordinator gives your friends or family members a trusted point of contact, so all can enjoy the wedding festivities without worry!
